Clear Aligners in Jackson, MS

A healthy, happy smile is the first thing that strangers notice when meeting you. A beautiful smile is a reflection of your personality, and it will enhance your overall image and self-confidence.

By feeling better about yourself, you will be much more successful in social situations, which will give you an added boost professionally as well.

Traditionally, makeovers were done with porcelain veneers — this was the quickest way to achieve an instant smile makeover. However, patients have come to realize that getting porcelain veneers is a much more invasive and costly procedure, causing them to look for alternative solutions in aesthetic orthodontics.

At Sandifer Orthodontics in Jackson MS, we encourage an orthodontic treatment like clear aligners, which allows patients to makeover their smile in a non-invasive and more affordable way.

Aligner treatment is now 50% faster, so if you are trying to improve your smile for an important occasion like a wedding or a graduation, look no further.

The Clear Aligner Treatment Process

Clear aligner treatment allows you to gradually correct the appearance of your teeth without having to use traditional metal braces. By using 3D modeling software and high-tech equipment, clear aligners offer a removable orthodontic solution.

Our aligners are made of BPA-free plastic, which is medical-grade and has been proven to correct problems like crowding, spacing, and even more serious issues like bite problems.

The process is simple. You’ll probably wear your aligners for 9–15 months, and will typically use 18–30 sets during your treatment. You’ll wear each set for 1 week at a time, removing them only to eat, drink anything other than water, brush, and floss. Aligners place a constant gentle pressure to move your teeth incrementally until they have reached the desired position.

Straight teeth are important not only because of their appearance but also because they lead to better oral health. In addition, they make cleaning and chewing much easier, improving your speech and decreasing the risk of tooth trauma.

Based on your individual needs, and the treatment plan put in place by Sandifer Orthodontics, you’ll wear several sets of trays throughout your orthodontic treatment. You’ll even start to notice a change in just a few months!

*Weekly aligner changes are recommended for all Invisalign® treatment (with default staging protocol) for all Invisalign products. The decision to prescribe weekly aligner changes is at the discretion of Dr. Sandifer. Monitor tooth movements such as rotations, extrusions, and significant root movements, particularly blue and black movements in the Tooth Movement Assessment (TMA). Depending on the patient’s response to the treatment plan, particularly in mature adults, Dr. Sandifer may consider longer periods between aligner changes.
